Material Details:
PertexR Shield fabric, a staple in F/CE.’s lineup, provides high breathability while offering lightweight waterproof protection. Designed for intense mountain sports where lightweight and breathability are crucial, it ensures comfort during rapid movement.
The 3-layer construction combines a lightweight outer fabric with a waterproof, windproof, and breathable membrane. The surface fabric is treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish to repel rain and snow while maintaining breathability.

Care Instructions:
PertexR Shield fabric is durable enough for regular machine washing and can be tumble dried on a low setting. While there are no specific detergent requirements, thorough rinsing is recommended to prevent detergent residue from attracting water between the fabric and polyurethane film. To restore water repellency, tumble dry on a low setting or use a low-heat iron with a cloth over the surface. This will raise the fine fibres on the fabric’s surface, enhancing its water-repellent properties.
