The PERTEX® SHIELD 3 LAYER material offers increased thickness compared to previous models, making it perfect for autumn and winter seasons. Additionally, all seams are sealed with seam tape to ensure superior waterproof performance. The fly-front closure and concealed zippers on the pockets enhance the minimalist aesthetic, while the silhouette provides a luxurious yet highly functional design.
The collar can be styled as a stand-up option and secured with buttons, adding versatility. Advanced PERTEX SHIELD Technology
The PERTEX SHIELD material incorporates a nanofiber membrane with a multi-layered structure composed of microscopic pores. This design allows air to pass through effortlessly, providing exceptional breathability. Unlike conventional rain jackets or shells, it prevents moisture buildup inside the garment, eliminating concerns about discomfort from sweat or body heat. This makes it ideal for high-temperature, high-humidity environments or intense activities, effectively protecting against rain and wind.
The three-layer structure combines lightweight outer fabric with waterproof, windproof, and breathable membranes, creating a highly versatile material. The surface fabric is treated with DWR (Durable Water Repellent), which repels rain and snow while maintaining breathability
Easy Maintenance
Thanks to its durable construction, PERTEX SHIELD garments are machine-washable (low-temperature, gentle cycle recommended) and can be tumble-dried on a low setting. While no specific detergent is required, thorough rinsing is essential to prevent detergent residue from compromising the waterproof properties of the polyurethane film.
To restore water repellency:
•Use a low-temperature dryer to reactivate the surface treatment
•Alternatively, apply low-temperature ironing with a pressing cloth
These steps realign the surface’s water-repellent properties, ensuring optimal performance.
