UTOPIA Concept Vest with 20-Denier Micro Ripstop and Dyneema Grid Nylon
This season’s UTOPIA concept vest features a futuristic design with layered 20-denier micro ripstop and Dyneema grid nylon. The vest is meticulously designed, balancing overlapping parts and pocket placements for a distinctive look.
The main material is lightweight Dyneema Grid Nylon. By weaving Dyneema fibers in a grid pattern into the nylon fabric, tear strength is significantly enhanced, reducing damage from sudden impacts. Polyethylene fibers provide high elasticity and strength, combined with inherent lightweight properties, weather resistance, and chemical stability against acids and alkalis. The lightweight nature (0.96g/cm2) of polyethylene is fully utilized alongside its high elasticity and strength.
The layered material uses fine 22T nylon yarns for both the warp and weft, resulting in a lightweight fabric. Semi-dull 20D nylon yarn is woven into a micro ripstop structure, further processed with a wrinkle treatment to create a textured appearance and a comfortable, non-clingy feel. The combination of yarn characteristics, weave, and wrinkle processing achieves a unique texture and appearance. Additionally, the fabric is water-repellent, making it suitable for various situations.
