Jacket based on WILD THINGS’ HAPPY JACKET, incorporated into the F/CE. design. Made from garment-dyed nylon material with a deep and unique colour. PrimaLoft is used for the padding. The amount of padding has been adjusted from the base HAPPY JACKET so that it can be worn for a longer season. The patches on the sleeves and chest are also distinctive.
Inspired by the US military’s Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS), the Happy Jacket is a commercial reinterpretation of the Level 7 design of the Happy Suit, which supports military operations in extremely cold climates. F/CE. has added its own perspective to this background and designed it based on the concept of ‘Impression’. Details such as detached patches and the unique texture created by the garment dye process are sublimated into a product that combines function and sensibility. For functionality, lightweight and warm-keeping PrimaloftR Silver is used, providing comfort suitable for everyday use while maintaining durability in cold weather. The outer shell is made of nylon material, which ensures waterproofness and durability, and is flexible enough to cope with changing weather conditions such as rain and snow. It is also practical, with functional storage space, including a front pocket and an internal mesh pocket. In terms of design, by adjusting the length and silhouette and reducing the amount of insulation, the ruggedness characteristic of military wear has been softened and comfort for town use pursued. Shoulder straps for carrying in hot weather and a wide range of situations from outdoor activities to everyday life. The Happy Jacket is a fusion of F/CE’s unique design philosophy and the functional beauty of military wear, and is proposed as a piece of clothing with a new sense of value that transcends the boundaries of mere warm-weather gear.
