Based on Lee’s iconic 91-B jacket, originally introduced in the 1940s, this modular coverall jacket reinterprets its structure and layering through the perspective of F/CE.
The main body is crafted from original denim woven from custom-spun 7-count yarn, blending 70% cotton with 30% CORDURA® nylon. By using the blended yarn for both the warp and weft and opting for straight yarns rather than slub yarns, the fabric achieves a clean, contemporary appearance with a refined surface.
The denim retains the character and aging of classic cotton denim, while CORDURA® nylon enhances abrasion resistance and tear strength. Lightweight and supple, the fabric combines the appeal of traditional workwear with the performance of modern functional materials.
The separately sold vest is detachable and can be worn as an inner lining or an outer layer. Offering versatile layering options to suit changing temperatures and different occasions, this piece combines the practicality of traditional workwear with contemporary functionality, embodying the distinctive approach of F/CE. × Lee.
